We are an Australian company based in Indonesia and manufacture hardwood prefabricated houses engineered to Australian design codes and standards and certified by Australian civil engineers. This standard is accepted world-wide.

We use various hardwoods available in Indonesia but mainly Bengkirai and Merbau, both of which are very expensive but also very desirable. (Please Note: All our timber comes from sustainable government licensed plantations). A typical wall panel for our Australian spec homes consists of a 16mm T & G (tongue and groove) external layer, followed by a 65mm cavity wall, with full insulation and with both 65mm x 45mm wooden studs with diagonal stress load bracing, and also 2.5mm steel bracing straps, then the 3rd layer is 6mm aluminium backed plywood for even greater strength and lastly the 4th layer is another 16mm T & G internal layer to add beauty to the interior of the finished product.

All our homes are designed for harsh weather conditions and are fully insulated. The roof section has both an aluminium foil heat-retaining layer and a 2mm rubber membrane for added protection against rain permeation. All roofs, walls and window/door panels are made in knock-down sections, and we do not use a single nail in construction, only stainless steel bolts, screws with hot-dipped galvanised steel bracketry for fixings.

Our roof finishing comes in a choice of Ulin wood (commonly known as Iron Wood because it`s so dense and strong that it does not float in water) shingle style tiles, or Colorbond steel - which comes in various colours.

All our houses are easily assembled by a small team of men, and as all the hard work has been done beforehand to assemble paneling here in Indonesia before we knock them down for shipping, the build time can be very quick, just a few days. And all homes come with a full assembly manual on both hard-copy and on CD-ROM.

The basic styles you will see on our website are almost certainly not the style you are after but we can make to any style needed for any specific country. We have in-house design engineers that make highly detailed AutoCAD drawings of all our homes. Any custom tailored home will be designed in conjunction with the purchaser to make sure you are completely satisfied before manufacturing takes place.

Please also note that we can design homes to fit a certain budget. Our Australian specification homes are quite expensive to manufacture because of the high use of the most expensive hardwoods available and the multiple layer construction. These costs can easily be reduced by reducing or replacing certain materials.

All the homes come complete as a ready made house. Included in the package are all windows and doors (fully glazed), all window and door locks, electric sockets and light switches/fittings*, electrical cable*, plumbing*, shower unit/s, toilets/wash-basins/towel rails/toilet roll holders (all by Toto of Japan) and a kitchenette with hob* and sink unit.

   PRESENTATION

S.C. MPo Wood S.R.L. was created in 2002 and it currently produces windows and doors made of triple stratified wood, thermo insulating wooden panes for houses, lamellar girders.
The factory is located in Frasin, the county of Suceava, with close access to E 576. The site consists of two fully equipped buildings with a total surface of 1500 sqm, loading platforms with a surface of 10.000 sqm, and storage facilities of 400 sqm.Total surface of location 14.000 sqm.
The entire equipment was purchased in 2002.
Machinery: numerical center for windows profiling, horizontal press machines, dryers 2 x 80 cubic meters, painting facility, mounting and binding facility, all the machinery needed for the manufacture of wooden elements, lifting and moving machinery, means of transport.
Facilities:
- heating facility on sawdust with automating loading;
- 400 KVA electric transformer;
- private water source;
- general exhaust system.
The factory has all the necessary licenses including the environmental protection license.
MPo Wood has clients from Romania, France, Germany, Italy.
The monthly productivity for one shift is as follows:
- up to 400 sqm of doors and windows made of stratified wood and thermo insulating glass;
- up to 30 cubic meters of stratified girders;
- up to 350 sqm of thermo insulating house panes;
- up to 30 cubic meters of other wooden elements.
The staff consists of 35 people (engineers, supervisors and specialized workers).
Profit is exempt from taxation until 2010
