On the 2 June American Authorities have evacuated coast of California after multiple fires took place in this area. 850 persons have left the risk area. 10 days after the unleashing of the fire in California, 21 thousand hectares of forest burnt down.
The putting out of these fires is difficult because of the narrow paths which limit the firemen’s acces.
In Scotland (UK), over 100 firemen are fighting fires caused by the increased temperatures. „Unfortunately, the isolation of the fire was not possible”, states Roy Holiet, chief fireman. The Halifax authorities are confrunted with the same problem.
The putting out is burdened by the very powerful wind, which continues to spread the fire, and rain is not expected for a week.
Russian authorities announce that in the last 24 hours there have been fires signaled in 150 areas, 78 of which have already been put out. For extinguishing these fires 803 firemen and 231 intervention machines have been called for.

What will happen to the forests if temperatures keep raising? The geo-phisic observer A. I. Voeikov of Sankt – Peterburg has pulled an alarm signal after reaching the conclusion that, in a few years, the fire season will extend.
