DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec - Registration is now open for Salon Industriel du Bois Ouvré (SIBO). The three-day event will be held April 23-25 in Drummondville, Quebec at the Centrexpo Cogeco. SIBO was last held in 2008 but was relaunched last year by CCI Canada, a division of Woodworking Network.
Harry Urban, SIBO show manager, said the event will offer Quebec woodworking professionals the opportunity to connect with each other and with key manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, computer software, hardware, raw materials and other related products. The Centrexpo Cogeco is a state-of-the-art exhibition and conference center that opened in 2014. The facility is centrally located between Montreal and Quebec at the crossroads of A 20 and A 55. It features free parking for more than 1,200 vehicles, including a handful of charging stations for electric cars.
Urban said many leading companies serving the Quebec woodworking industry have already signed on to exhibit including Air & Water Systems, Blum Canada, Concept-Air, Crow`s Nest Software, Leitz Tooling Systems, OMER S.P.A., Planit Canada, Aiguisatek, Abrasives J.J.S. sia Canada, Quincaillerie SACA, Rampa Tec, Sugatsune Canada, Thomes Canada, USIMM and GRASS Canada to name a few. In addition to contracting booth space to exhibit, FS Tool will sponsor the lanyards for the three-day event.
